Abstract:
The embodiment of the present invention discloses a data balancing method, including: obtaining a load degree and an n number of weight values of an n number of weight factors of each virtual node on an m number of physical nodes in a distributed database system, wherein m and n are integers greater than 1; performing weighted averaging according to the load degree of the n number of weight factors of the n number of weight values to obtain a weight coefficient of each virtual node; obtaining a standard fragment number according to the weight coefficient of the virtual node associated with each physical node; determining whether the data distribution meets the data balancing condition or not according to the standard fragment number respectively corresponding to the m number of physical nodes; if not, performing a data balancing process on the m number of physical nodes. The present invention embodiment further discloses a data balancing device. The present invention is able to perform data balancing on the physical nodes in the distributed database system and optimize resource allocation.
