Abstract:
Provided are a data center system and an operating method therefor, and a data center system base design assistance device and method that can improve economy when power generated by renewable energy sources installed in bases is utilized as drive power for a data center system that comprises a plurality of data centers. The data center system is configured so that data centers at a plurality of bases and a data center system energy management device are connected by communication, and the data centers at the plurality of bases are provided with servers for data computation and are each provided with a renewable energy source to perform power interchange between the bases, the data center system being characterized in that the data center energy management system is provided with a task allocation coordination means and coordinates task allocation among the data centers at the plurality of bases, the task allocation coordination means coordinating the bases at which information processing is executed so as to suppress execution of information processing at a data center for which an insufficiency of renewable energy power within the base is predicted, and to increase execution of information processing at a data center for which a surplus of renewable energy power within the base is predicted.
