Abstract:
A data collection device (11) collects inspection data from inspection devices (33, 35) on a manufacturing line and adds such data to a characteristic value table in an inspection database recording unit (63). The data collection device (11) is provided with the following: inspection file recording units (60) that obtain file names and inspection files containing inspection data from the inspection devices (33, 35) and record the same; additional information extraction units (50) that extract additional information relating to the inspection data from the file names read out from the inspection file recording units (60); data change units (51) that add the extracted additional information to the inspection data in the inspection files from the inspection file recording units (60) to create characteristic value data; and a data writing unit (53) that adds the characteristic value data from the data change units (51) to the characteristic value table in the inspection database recording unit (63).
