Abstract:
A data collection method executed during speed detection of an expressway, and a speed detection system. The method comprises: recording a distance between expressway toll stations (S101); when a user vehicle enters an expressway toll station, recording the current time and place (S102); when a user vehicle exits the expressway toll station, recording the current time and place (S103); according to the distance between the two expressway toll stations through which the user vehicle passes within the time period, calculating an average speed of the user vehicle (S104); determining whether the average speed of the user vehicle exceeds a pre-set speed threshold value (S105); if not, remaining in an original state (S106); and if so, determining that the user vehicle exceeds the speed, and sending technical usage data to a data collection end of a manufacturer (S107). By means of monitoring, according to the time of a user vehicle entering and exiting expressway toll stations and a distance between the two toll stations, a driving speed thereof on an expressway, a user drives according to a specified speed, thereby reducing the occurrence of traffic accidents and making it convenient for a manufacturer to collect the usage condition regarding the relevant technologies.
