Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relates to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a data communication method, device and system, for use in resolving the problem in the prior art of inability to meet data transmission of different service requirements in the case of determining whether to use a Grant Free communication mechanism only on the basis of the size of a data packet to be transmitted. The method comprises: a user equipment (UE) receives data packet filtering information sent by a session management function (SMF) entity, wherein the data packet filtering information comprises a data packet length threshold and a data packet fragmentation instruction; if the UE determines that the length of the data packet to be transmitted is less than or equal to the data packet length threshold, and the data packet to be transmitted is not data packet fragments, then the UE determines that the data packet to be transmitted can use the Grant Free communication mechanism. The embodiments of the present application are applied in a transmission process of data packets.
