Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a data compression and decompression method and a related apparatus, electronic device, and system, the data compression method processing original data blocks in original data on the basis of a compression algorithm to obtain standard compressed data blocks of length L2 corresponding to the original data blocks, and then compressing the original data into one or a plurality of standard compressed data blocks of length L2 for parallel decompression by a decompression apparatus, the decompression apparatus comprising a plurality of decompression engines, each decompression engine being capable of decompressing one standard compressed data block in one processing period. Executing the data compression method in the embodiments of the present invention can compress into standard compressed data blocks of a fixed length, such that the decompression engines can perform synchronous decompression when decompressing the plurality of standard compressed data blocks, increasing data decompression efficiency.
