Abstract:
Provided are a data compression method and a related apparatus, and a data decompression method and a related apparatus. The data compression method comprises: acquiring N data blocks to be compressed and N pieces of protection information (PI), wherein said N data blocks correspond to the N pieces of PI on a one-to-one basis, and N is a positive integer greater than or equal to two; compressing said N data blocks to obtain compressed data blocks; and compressing the N pieces of PI to obtain compressed PI. The above-mentioned technical solution can enhance the compression effect of data blocks to be compressed.
