Abstract:
A data backup device (charger 12A) comprises a charger connection terminal (22) connected to the charge terminal (20) of a cellular telephone (10), and a connection terminal (26a) for information transmission connected to a terminal (24a) for connection with an external information device. When the cellular telephone (10) starts charging through the charger connection terminal (20), a data backup unit (18) automatically reads predetermined data from the cellular telephone (10) and stores it.
