Abstract:
A data error correction method and device, a memory controller, and a system. In the present application, when needing to read target data in a memory, a memory controller reads the target data and a first verification code of the target data from the memory; the memory controller can verify the target data by using the first verification code, and if the verification fails, it indicates that error data exists in the target data; the memory controller can perform error correction on the target data by using the first verification code; after the memory controller fails to perform error correction on the target data by using the first verification code, the memory controller obtains a second verification code of the target data in an auxiliary memory; after obtaining the second verification code, the memory controller performs error correction on the target data by using the second verification code. After the memory controller fails to perform error correction on the target data by using the first verification code in the memory, the memory controller performs error correction on the target data by using the second verification code in the auxiliary memory, so that it is ensured that error correction is performed on the target data, and the data error correction capability is improved.
