Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a data flow forwarding method and device for a switch system. The switch system comprises a first LCC and at least one second LCC and third LCC, the LCCs being interconnected in a mesh topology structure; the method comprises: the first LCC receives a data packet and parses the data packet so as to obtain the target address of the data packet; in the case that the target address indicates that the data packet is to be transmitted to the third LCC, if the current pre-set configuration mode of the switch system is the first configuration mode, then the first LCC transmits the data packet to the third LCC by means of a third link, the first configuration mode indicating that the switch system currently uses an N-hop mode, N being a natural number greater than or equal to 3. The method provided in the embodiments of the present invention allows for wirespeed forwarding of data packets between any two nodes in a switch system, thereby enhancing the capacity expansion of the switch system and reducing the capacity expansion cost of the switch system.
