Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications and provides a data forwarding method, comprising: a session management function network element receives information of a first bearer in a first network from an access and mobility management function network element, and sends flow information and forwarding information of a first flow in a second network to the access and mobility management function network element, the flow information being used for indicating the flow of data forwarding, and the forwarding information being used for forwarding of the first flow to a tunnel corresponding to the first bearer. By means ofAccording to the solution provided by the present embodiments, access network equipment in the second network can only send, according to the flow information and the forwarding information, the flow requiring data forwarding to a user plane function network element without forwarding all flows to the user plane function network element, so that transmission resources are saved.
