Abstract:
The invention provides a data forwarding method utilized in flexible Ethernet (FlexE), and a network apparatus thereof. In one embodiment, the data forwarding method utilized in FlexE comprises: a first network apparatus receiving, in a first time slot of a first physical layer connection, data transmitted from a second network apparatus; determining, according to the first time slot of the first physical layer connection, a second time slot of a second physical layer connection; and forwarding, in the second time slot of the second physical layer connection, the data to a third network apparatus. The embodiment of the invention does not need to perform operations such as packet configuration and a scheduling process on the basis of packet attributes, facilitating reduction in a forwarding time delay of a network apparatus in FlexE communication.
