Abstract:
Provided are a data generation device, a data generation method, and a data generation program for generating data for learning by such a synthetic image that includes a region to be detected that could actually occur with regard to an inspection object. The data generation device generates data for learning in order to teach a discriminator that discriminates whether or not there exists a region to be detected that is included in an inspection object. The data generation device is provided with: an acquisition unit for acquiring an image of the inspection object; an input unit for accepting designation of a partial image that is a portion of the image and includes the region to be detected; a compensation unit for compensating for the partial image on the basis of the feature quantity of the region to be detected; and a generation unit for generating a synthetic image that is synthesized from the partial image compensated for by the compensation unit and an image different from the image that includes the partial image, and associating information that indicates that the region to be detected is included to the synthetic image and generating new data for learning in order to teach the discriminator.
