Abstract:
A data line comprises a connector (10) and a cable (20) connected to the connector (10). The connector (10) comprises a plug (11), an inner housing (12) made from a soft plastic, and an outer housing (13) made from a hard plastic. A front end of the inner housing (12) is connected to the plug (11), and a rear end is connected to the cable (20). The outer housing (13) is sleeved on the inner housing (12). An adhesive layer is disposed between the outer housing (13) and the inner housing (12), and the outer housing (13) is bonded and fixed on the inner housing (12) by the adhesive layer. The join between the connector (10) and the cable (20) of the data line has good flexibility, and the cable (20) is not prone to breaking. Since the outer housing (13) is made from a hard plastic, the outer housing has an attractive appearance, is not prone to get dirty, and has lower manufacturing costs than the metal outer housings of the prior art. Furthermore, during manufacturing, due to the fact that the outer housing (13) of the data line is backwards-sleeved on the inner housing (12) from the front end of the inner housing (12), assembly of the outer housing (13) can be executed after soldering of the cable (20) and the plug (11), such that no metal housing on the cable (20) interferes with soldering of the plug (11) and the cable (20).
