Abstract:
[Problem] To realize a data management technique with which it is possible to respond flexibly even when it becomes necessary to refer to past data in the middle of system operation. [Solution] A second data management system 50 provided with an AP server 54 and a DB server 52. The user table 56 of the DB server 52 is subject to restrictions by which only reference to and addition of a record is permitted and the deletion and updating of a record is prohibited. The AP server 54 adds a time of day at which data is generated to user data as a timestamp and makes the timestamp registered by the DB server 52. When it is necessary to refer to user data at a specific point of time in the past, the AP server 54 extracts the user data on the basis of a time of day recorded in the timestamp of each user data stored in the user table 56.
