Abstract:

Disclosed are a data message forwarding method and apparatus. The method comprises: a source switch acquiring a congestion level of d sampling paths in n paths in accordance with a pre-set sampling period, and storing congestion level indication information about each sampling path, with d being smaller than n; selecting a first target sampling path which has a minimum congestion level at a first time according to the congestion level indication information, forwarding a first data message through the first target sampling path, and storing an identifier of a first data flow packet to which the first data message belongs; if an identifier of a second data flow packet to which a second data message belongs is the same as the identifier of the first data flow packet, then forwarding the second data packet through the first target sampling path; or selecting a second target sampling path which has a minimum congestion level at a second time, and forwarding the second data message through the second target sampling path. The embodiments of the present invention have the advantages of being capable of improving the applicability of data forwarding and the extendibility of network congestion sensing.
