Abstract:
The present invention discloses a data migration method, comprising: by scanning a two-dimensional code of a second terminal device, a first terminal device is connected to a hotspot created by the second terminal device, the two-dimensional code being generated based on a name of the hotspot and a connection password of the hotspot; the first terminal device classifies all data of an application to be migrated; and the first terminal device backs up first data of the application to be migrated to obtain a first data set, and transmits the first data set to the second terminal device, the type of the first data being preset. Embodiments of the present invention further provide related devices. The problem of unnecessary memory occupation in a new mobile phone can be avoided by using the embodiments of the present invention.
