Abstract:
Provided are data modulation and demodulation methods for a multi-carrier system, a frame generation method and a node. A transmitting node performs an inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) on frequency domain data of L consecutive symbols, the inverse of the adjacent sub-carrier spacing of the frequency domain data being T0, L≥2. The transmitting node uses a specified waveform function to perform modulation on time domain data sequences of the L consecutive symbols after IFFT processing, the symbol spacing of the L symbols after modulation being T1, T1>T0, the independent variable interval length of the waveform function being N×T1, N being a real number greater than or equal to 2 or greater than or equal to 3. Also provided are a corresponding demodulation method, frame generation method and node. The present invention is better able to suppress out-of-band leakage, and maintains compatibility with LTE as much as possible. Furthermore, the present invention has better demodulation performance at a receiving end.
