The present application relates to data monitoring and is applied to the field of big data. Disclosed are a data monitoring method and a related apparatus. The method is applied to the technical field of data monitoring, and comprises: searching for a feature value of a monitored device; in the case that the monitored device has the feature value, determining whether the monitored device is a mirror-copied device; in the case that the monitored device is not the mirror-copied device, confirming the monitored device as a registered device; obtaining an account priority corresponding to the monitored device; obtaining, according to a correspondence between the account priority and a data request threshold, a first data request threshold corresponding to the monitored device; and in the case that the number of data requests of the monitored device reaches the first data request threshold, rejecting the data request issued by the monitored device. The implementation of the present application can achieve management of all newly added devices on a platform and enhance the monitoring effect.
