Abstract:
Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention is a data packet transmission method. The method comprises: a network side device receives a first request message sent by a user equipment, the first request message being used for requesting the network side device to allocate a data caching space; the network side device caches at least one part of data packets sent by a server device to the user equipment, into the data caching space; the network side device receives a second request message sent by the user equipment, the second request message being used for requesting the network side device to send the cached data packets; and the network side device sends part or all of the cached data packets to the user equipment. Correspondingly, also disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a network side device, a user equipment, and a communication system. By means of the present invention, data packets can be cached on a network side, and accordingly the problem of delayed transmission of data packets in a data transmission process is resolved.
