Abstract:
The present invention is capable of predicting, with high accuracy, data of a to-be-predicted period. An operation unit 10 accepts higher-dimensional array data representing data of each period, and external information data that is a tensor or a matrix representing external information of each period. A parameter estimation unit 16 executes, under sparse constraints of weighting parameters per rank, a step for decomposing the higher-dimensional array data into the weighted sum of products of a plurality of factor matrices per rank and a step for decomposing the external information data into the weighted sum of products of a plurality of factor matrices per rank. A prediction unit 22 predicts the data of the to-be-predicted period on the basis of the weighting parameters per rank and the plurality of factor matrices per rank obtained with respect to the higher-dimensional array data.
