Abstract:
A similarity calculating unit (24) calculates, on the basis of data obtained from a mass spectrometer (16), similarity of patterns of a mass spectrum at each time point during a period spanning the entire occurrence period of chromatogram peak derived from a target compound, and a mass spectrum at time points separated by a prescribed period from those time points. Moreover, in a similar manner, similarity for an absorption spectrum at each time point in a wavelength chromatogram peak derived from the same target compound is calculated on the basis of data obtained by a PDA detector (15). The similarity graph creation unit (27) creates a graph indicating temporal variation for each of the mass spectrum similarities and absorption spectrum similarities, and displays the same on a screen of a display unit (5) by drawing the same overlapping on the same graph grid. Thus, peak purity can be accurately determined even when an impurity that has light absorption characteristics similar to the target compound is present.
