Abstract:
There has been a problem with wind measurement systems of the prior art in that the effective data acquisition rate with respect to a wind vector decreases if there is an obstruction in front of a laser radar device. This data processing device comprises: a data communication device that communicates with a laser radar device and acquires a sight-direction wind speed value, a laser emission angle, posture information, position information, and a time; a storage device that stores sight-direction wind speed values and times; a central processing unit that executes a data extracting unit that extracts a sight-direction wind speed value stored in the storage device that lies within a set time period from the time of a sight-direction wind speed value newly acquired by the data communication device, and that executes a wind vector calculating unit that calculates a wind vector using a sight-direction wind speed value newly acquired by the data communication device and the sight-direction wind speed value extracted by the data extracting unit; and a memory that stores the data extracting unit and the wind vector calculating unit.
