Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a data processing device that can identify, with a high degree of accuracy, ranges in a series of light intensity data that correspond to sample accommodation regions. Provided is a data processing device having: a data determination unit that identifies, in first light intensity distribution data acquired on the basis of light irradiated from a first light source toward a detection region and second light intensity distribution data acquired on the basis of light irradiated from a second light source toward the detection region, ranges to be analyzed corresponding to accommodation regions in which objects to be detected are accommodated; and a mode selection unit that selects the operation mode of the data determination unit. The mode selection unit selects a first mode in which the data determination unit identifies the ranges to be analyzed in both the first light intensity distribution data and second light intensity distribution data or a second mode in which the data determination unit identifies the ranges to be analyzed in the second light intensity distribution data on the basis of information about the ranges to be analyzed in the first light intensity distribution data.
