Abstract:
A data processing method and apparatus for merging regions in a map. The data processing method comprises: using lines of a pre-set transparency to draw map images of regions to be merged, and generating an initial merged map image (S2); acquiring the transparencies of pixel points in the initial merged map image (S4); taking pixel points having an identical transparency with the pre-set transparency as target pixel points, and generating a target merged map image according to the target pixel points (S6). The data processing method and apparatus do not need complex data processing, and can accurately detect a boundary overlapping portion, making the merging of regions of a map more accurate and fast.
