Abstract:
A data processing method, backup server (11, 21, 31, 40) and storage system (10, 20, 30) are configured to address the problem of low data storage efficiency caused by large I/O resource consumption of fingerprint matching. The data processing method comprises: determining, according to an indexing fingerprint in a fingerprint index table and a fingerprint of a data block to be stored, a first fingerprint collection (101); acquiring, according to a first indexing fingerprint, a first probability of a first fingerprint table containing a fingerprint identical to the fingerprint of the data block to be stored, and acquiring, according to a second indexing fingerprint, a second probability of a second fingerprint table containing a fingerprint identical to the fingerprint of the data block to be stored (102); determining, according to the first probability and the second probability, a second fingerprint collection (103); and acquiring a matching result between multiple fingerprints represented by the first indexing fingerprint and the fingerprint of the data block to be stored (104).
