Abstract:
An audio/video data processing method executed by a terminal device, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: checking whether an external device is connected to the terminal device when audio/video data is played according to a request of a user; extracting a binary code inserted into audio information by using a portion of audio data of the audio/video data according to a result of the checking; and determining and processing video information corresponding to the binary code. Therefore, the present invention has an advantage of enabling the terminal device to extract and process video information from audio information by analyzing a portion of the audio information since a portion of audio data of audio/video data is outputted to an external device and the other portion is provided to an internal processor of the terminal device when the user connects the external device to the terminal device and watches the audio/video data.
