Abstract:
The present invention relates to a data processing system providing service continuity protection, comprising: a service center, comprising a first data processing unit, a first front-end communications unit, and at least one first rear-end communications unit; a disaster recovery center, comprising a second data processing unit, a second front-end communications unit, and at least one second rear-end communications unit; when the service center is operating normally, the first front-end communications unit and second front-end communications unit are coupled in communication with the first rear-end communications unit; when the disaster recovery center operates instead of the service center, the first front-end communications unit and second front-end communications unit are coupled in communication with the second rear-end communications unit. The invention switches reliably between the service center and the disaster recovery center, providing improved service-continuity protection. Furthermore, the data processing system conserves network overhead, reduces development and operation/maintenance costs, and enables rapid switching between operating states.
