A data query method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. After receiving a data query request, a data processing system does not query target data required by a user from a first file having a relatively large amount of data, but queries the target data from second files having a relatively small amount of data. The multiple second files are specifically generated according to the first file. Both the first file and the second files may be files formed by aggregated data or files formed by raw data that have not undergone aggregation processing, or the first file may be a file formed by raw data, and the second files may be files formed by aggregated data. Because the second files having a relatively small amount of data is traversed each time data is queried, the amount of data to be traversed in a data query process can be effectively reduced, and thus the efficiency of querying the data can be effectively improved.
