Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present description are a data reading method and apparatus. The data reading method comprises: receiving a data reading transaction request; on the basis of the data reading transaction request, obtaining a reading timestamp; and when the reading timestamp is less than the largest commit timestamp of a writing transaction of a first database, sending the data reading transaction request carrying the reading timestamp to the first database, and reading data. The described data reading method obtains a one-time reading timestamp, and, on the basis of the reading timestamp, it can be ensured that data of a distributed standby database read by the same data reading transaction request is consistent with data of a corresponding main database, which greatly improves the experience of a user in reading and querying data in the distributed standby database.
