Abstract:
A data recovery method and device. The method comprises: detecting data modification performed on a target data object, and establishing a corresponding modification log aiming at data modification at a time; receiving a data recovery request carrying a first modification log identifier (S101); obtaining, according to the receiving time of the received data recovery request and the establishment time of a first modification log determined according to the first modification log identifier, a set of logs to be recovered (S102); and recovering data of the target data object in a descending order of the establishment time of the modification logs and sequentially according to the modification logs in the set of logs to be recovered until the data of the target data object is recovered, according to modification types and data information which are included by the first modification log, to data that exists before the first data modification is executed (S103). By recovering data in a reverse time sequence, the present invention can effectively meet data recovery demand to a great extent, and remarkably improves the data recovery efficiency.
