Abstract:
In relation to a data relay device between a client device and a server device which distributes content, the objective of the present invention is to enable occurrences of re-buffering to be detected, and to enable traffic optimization. The data relay device differentiates between packets transmitted from a client device to a server device that distributes content, on the basis of the data size of each packet, and detects re-buffering on the basis of the transmission frequency of a differentiated specific packet.
