Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of network transmissions. Disclosed are a data request method based on an HTTP protocol, and a server. In the present invention, the data request method based on an HTTP protocol comprises: receiving a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request from a downstream connection; associating an upstream connection for the HTTP request; converting the HTTP request into a data frame; sending the data frame by means of the associated upstream connection; receiving response data from the upstream, and making the response data correspond to the associated HTTP request; and returning the response data to the downstream connection where the HTTP request is located. According to the embodiments of the present invention, when a request is sent, the next request can be sent without waiting for a response, thus reducing the waiting time between the requesting and the responding, and improving the sending efficiency.
