Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of communications. Provided are a data sending and receiving method and device. In the method, a sending end can send a PPDU comprising a signature symbol to a receiving end. A first preset bit in the signature symbol indicates a standard version corresponding to the PPDU and/or second preset bits each have a value of 0 or 1. After the receiving end has received the PPDU, if the standard version corresponding to the PPDU indicated by the first preset bit in the signature symbol of the PPDU is a standard version corresponding to a first PPDU and/or each of the second preset bits in the signature symbol has a value the same as a preset value, the received PPDU is determined to be the first PPDU. In the method, a receiving end can determine and recognize whether a PPDU received from a sending end is a first PPDU according to a signature symbol in the PPDU, thereby correctly interpreting information in the received PPDU.
