Disclosed in the present invention is a data sharing system and a smart terminal of the system. When a first smart terminal is on a touch screen plane of said system smart terminal, on the basis of the intensity of the optical signal received by each optical receiver, said system smart terminal locates the position of the first smart terminal on the touch screen thereof, and determines a target light emitter; acquiring data corresponding to the position, sending the data to the target light emitter, and, by means of the target light emitter, converting the data into an optical signal and emitting the optical signal in the direction of a corresponding first optical receiver; the first smart terminal receives the optical signal by means of the first optical receiver, and restores the optical signal to data. Also disclosed in the present invention are a smart terminal and a first smart terminal. The system of the present invention is able to implement data interaction between smart terminals as long as power is sufficient; the smart terminals do not need to access any wireless network, and there is no data loss; compared to existing methods of data transmission, data transmission in the present invention is rapid, high density, highly secure, confidential, and low cost, and does not have negative effects on the human body as a result of electromagnetic radiation.
