Abstract:
Link information that is included in a map database 4 and a delivery map database 5 includes a basic information part and a characteristic information part. The basic information part includes items (e.g., link ID, link length, etc.) that designate information pertaining to a link of interest. The characteristic information includes the items "information ID," "basic upload probability," "upload range number," and "upload range n" (where n = 1, 2,...). Each "upload range n" includes a plurality of sub-items, specifically "upload range ID," "position," "length," "priority," "date/time band," "expiration date," and "upload probability." The upload probability in the "upload probability" item is designated for an upload range of interest.
