Abstract:
A data terminal used for device maintenance includes: a radio tag communication unit for transmitting/receiving a device identifier for identifying a device; an individual identification unit for reading an individual identifier for identifying an individual; a storage unit containing individual skill information indicating the skill of the individual specified according to the individual identifier and maintenance skill information indicating the skill required for maintenance of the device specified according to the device identifier; and a processing unit for reading out the individual skill information and the maintenance skill information from the storage unit according to the individual identifier read by the individual identification unit and the device identifier acquired by the radio tag communication unit and correlating the read out individual information to the read out maintenance skill information so as to judge whether the individual indicated by the read out individual identifier has the authority to perform maintenance of the device indicated by the acquired device identifier.
