Abstract:
A data transfer control apparatus includes an OUT transfer transmitter circuit for driving a serial signal line to transmit OUT data; a clock transfer transmitter circuit for driving the serial signal line to transmit a clock (CLK); a PLL circuit for generating the clock (CLK); and a power down setting circuit for setting a power down mode. In a first power down mode, the OUT transfer transmitter circuit and clock transfer transmitter circuit are placed in the power down mode to cause the system clock of a target data transfer control apparatus to stop. In a second power down mode, the clock transfer transmitter circuit is not placed in the power down mode but the OUT transfer transmitter circuit is placed in the power down mode.
