Abstract:
In a data transfer control device (100), a DMAC (#0) functioning as a transfer unit (203) receives an instruction from a transfer instruction unit (204) of a CPU (#0) and transfers data to be transferred from an MEM (#1) functioning as a transfer source memory to an MEM (#0) functioning as a transfer destination memory. Further, a detection unit (205) in the data transfer control device (100) detects a process executed by the CPU (#0). After the detection is made, a determination unit (206) in the data transfer control device (100) determines, according to the type of the detected process, whether the transfer of the data to be transferred by the transfer unit (203) is urgent or not. After the determination is made, a control unit (207) in the data transfer control device (100) controls, based on the result determined by the determination unit (206), the transfer unit (203) or the CPU (#0) so as to transfer the data to be transferred.
