Abstract:
A data transfer device (2-1 to 2-9), which controls over a data processing device (3-1 to 3-13) for performing data processing for a service function with respect to data included in a received packet: receives a packet including a tag that includes a service function number of a service function constituting a service chain and identification information of the service chain, the service chain implementing a service requested by a user; acquires from a routing table a packet transfer destination candidate using the service function number of the received packet; determines a packet transfer destination on the basis of the identification information of the service chain; and transfers the received packet to a data processing device (3-1 to 3-13) or a data transfer device (2-1 to 2-9).
