Abstract:
A data transmission device (100) and a data reception device (200) capable of performing an error correction using a FEC stream, without any necessity for the feedback from the data reception device to the data transmission device. The data transmission device (100) includes media packet transmission means (102) for transmitting a media stream, a plurality of FEC packet calculation means (103) for calculating a FEC packet having different parameters, and a plurality of FEC packet transmission means (104) for transmitting the FEC packet as the FEC stream. Moreover, the data reception device (200) includes media packet reception means (201) for acquiring a media packet, a FEC stream select/receive means (202) for selecting one or more from the plural FEC streams thereby to acquire the FEC packet, and media packet restoration means (203)for restoring a packet having vanished, using the FEC packet.
