Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide a data transmission method and apparatus provided by the present invention, the method includes An orthogonal, concurrent transmission of an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) and/or Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) transmission, and/or single-carrier FDMA (SC-FDMA) transmission together with a Cyclic Prefix (CP) Augmented Single Carrier (SC) transmission, which remain orthogonal at the receiver and which can be processed using a single FFT at the receiver, thus the method is superior to Long Term Evolution (LTE).
