Abstract:

The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications. Provided is a data transmission method, comprising: a first device sending a first message to a second device, wherein the first message is used for indicating that the second device stops sending data of an application to the first device; receiving first indication information from the second device, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating a sequence number of the data, received by the second device from the first device, of an application; and sending second indication information to the second device, wherein the second indication information is used for indicating a sequence number of the data, received by the first device from the second device, of an application, wherein the first device is a terminal device and the second device is a first server, or the first device is the first server and the second device is the terminal device; and after a connection between the terminal device and a second server is established, the first indication information and the second indication information are used for transmitting the data of the application by means of the connection. By means of the solution provided in this embodiment, service continuity for a terminal device obtaining a service can be guaranteed.
