Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method and device in a FlexE. The method comprises: obtaining multiple data blocks, the multiple data blocks being sent by L FlexE clients, L being a positive integer greater than or equal to 1; and sending a data frame comprising the multiple data blocks to a physical layer device, the transmission rate of the data frame being N*100 Gbit/s, the data frame comprising T data block groups, each of the T data block groups comprising M consecutive data block subgroups, each of the M consecutive data block subgroups comprising R*N consecutive data blocks, the data frame also comprising T overhead block groups, and a tth overhead block group comprising N consecutive overhead group. By means of the technical solution, the number of data blocks in each data block subgroup in a data frame is increased to R*N, the number of overhead headers comprised in each overhead header group is increased to N, and accordingly the transmission rate of data can be flexibly adjusted.
