Disclosed are a data transmission method and device, a medium, and an apparatus. Said method comprises: receiving a data processing request sent by a first device deployed in a first region, the data processing request being obtained by means of encapsulation of a first data transmission protocol; converting, according to a conversion rule for different data transmission protocols, the encapsulation protocol of the data processing request from the first data transmission protocol to a second data transmission protocol; and transmitting the converted data processing request by means of a data transmission channel that supports the second data transmission protocol. An acceleration transmission mechanism is added to the existing data transmission mechanism, that is, after being subjected to convention of data transmission protocols, a data processing request transmitted by using a first encapsulation protocol is transmitted by using a data transmission channel supporting a second encapsulation protocol, thereby effectively improving data transmission efficiency.
