Abstract:
The present application provides a data transmission method and device. The method comprises: a wireless access device, such as a radio access network (RAN), allocating, for example, data to each radio access technology (RAT) link according to link quality information (such as a link transmission speed, a link load, a packet loss rate, and a transmission delay) of the RAT link; and the wireless access device sending to user equipment, such as a mobile phone and a tablet, the allocated data in parallel via the RAT link. Thus, a data offloading process in a data transmission process is performed on the wireless access device, and the wireless access device allocates data to each link according to the link quality information of the RAT link, such that more data is allocated to an RAT link having link quality information indicating high link quality (such as an RAT link having a high link transmission speed, a low link load, a low packet loss rate, and a low transmission delay). The method provided by the present application improves data offloading performance when data is transmitted between the wireless access device and the user equipment via multiple links, and improves a data transmission speed between the wireless access device and the user equipment.
