Abstract:
Disclosed by the embodiments of the present application are a data transmission method and device, said method comprising: a terminal device receiving a radio network temporary identification (RNTI) from a network device; the terminal device monitoring a PDCCH scrambled by the RNTI at the paging occasion, the PDCCH being used for scheduling downlink data of the terminal device. Using the embodiments of the present application, it is possible to reduce the signaling overhead of downlink data transmission, reducing the power consumption of a terminal device.
