Abstract:
A data transmission method and device. The method comprises: upon receiving first data carried on a first access stratum (AS) carrier, a terminal converts the first data into a first IP data packet of a first IP flow, and receives the first IP data packet; and when sending a second IP data packet of a second IP flow, the terminal carries the second IP data packet on a second AS carrier and then sends out. According to embodiments of the present application, using an IP data transmission mode between an AS layer and a NAS layer can introduce a new QoS control function in an RAN, thereby implementing an end-to-end QoS architecture solution, and providing support for rollback and lossless switching of IP packets.
