Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a data transmission method, and a device, which can be applied to real-time propagation of an audio/video session. The method comprises: a sending end device creating n streams by means of an interface provided by a QUIC protocol, and setting attribute information of the streams (or setting, in the same stream, different attribute information for different data blocks); the sending end device then transmitting the attribute information of the streams to a first network node by means of a first extended frame (or transmitting the attribute information of different data blocks in the same stream by means of a second extended frame), wherein the first/second extended frame is a frame that is obtained by means of performing protocol extension on the QUIC protocol; and after receiving the first/second extended frame, the first network node determining the routing, caching and delivery of a target data stream according to a sending policy of the first network node itself, and continuing to issue the attribute information. By means of the present application, the transmission of attribute information of the same stream in a delivery network is realized, and each network node can formulate different sending policies on the basis of the attribute information, such that corresponding reliability and a corresponding time-delay guarantee are realized, thereby achieving the effect of improving the user experience.
