Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a data transmission method and an electronic device. The method comprises: after an application on an electronic device has sent data, the electronic device detecting an occurrence time when the electronic device enters a dormant state or a network-limiting state; and when the electronic device detects the occurrence time when the electronic device enters the dormant state or the network-limiting state and detects that there is data to be retransmitted in a retransmission queue, the electronic device executing a pre-retransmission operation on the data before the occurrence time arrives. In this way, even if the electronic device enters the dormant state or the network-limiting state after sending the data, the electronic device can still execute a data retransmission operation in advance before entering the dormant state or the network-limiting state, such that the electronic device can be effectively prevented from being unable to trigger a retransmission operation or being unable to send retransmitted data.
